With a new album after four years and a tour that is still sparking up controversy – literally – the German industrial metal masters celebrate 15 years in the limelight.

Rumours have gone wild that rammstein set the blaze that recently burnt through pop phenomenon Florence and the machines instruments, not that shes that bothered, stating “You could hear the harp’s strings ping in the fire. Strange sound. We recorded it and I want to use it in a song,”.

Christoph Schneider, drummer with multi-platinum German concept rockers Rammstein, has switched to SABIAN cymbals. A founding member of the group - which tours and charts its high-powered, dark humored music and dramatic stage presence around the world - Schneider said the change came after recording Rammstein's latest CD, Liebe ist fur alle da (Love is There for Everyone).

The Gauntlet caught up with Robb Flynn of one of our favorite bands, Machine Head and asked him to comment on his involvement with remixing the Rammstein track "Rammlied".
